2024 is indeed a year full of achievements as all OVCAA units have successfully presented their strategic plan outputs and accomplishment reports in the recently held OVCAA Year-End Activity.

This year’s OVCAA Year-End Activity was held last December 13, 2024 at Bulwagang Tandang Sora in the College of Social Work and Community Development, University of the Philippines Diliman.

Organized by the OVCAA Socials Committee, the OVCAA Year-End Activity is an annual gathering of the heads and staff of all the offices under the OVCAA namely the Central Office, OAT, OILD, ILCD, OFA, GEC, UL, OUR, and NSTP. The said activity aims to (1) provide an opportunity to celebrate milestones and acknowledge contributions, (2) identify the recurring challenges and areas for improvement for all heads and staff, and (3) make sense of where the units stand in terms of their objectives and priorities.

The OVCAA Year-End Activity 2024 kicked off with an opening message from Dr. Maria Vanessa P. Lusung-Oyzon, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, who emphasized the importance of “sincere unity” and “positive attitude” to uphold work efficiency and accomplish administrative goals. To lighten up the mood and provide entertainment among heads and staff in between the presentations, the OVCAA Socials Committee Catherine Joie C. Tagaban and its members provided fun-filled energizers which are all relevant to the purpose of the year-end activity.

The OVCAA Year-End Activity concluded by acknowledging the efforts of the people who contributed significantly throughout the whole year. The awards were categorized into two: (1) the Human Resource Service Awards which are given to employees who have worked in the OVCAA for more than ten years, and (2) the Service Excellence Awards which are given to employees for their unique characteristics and contributions.
