UP Expands UPCAT Testing Centers for 2024
The University of the Philippines (UP) is making education more accessible by increasing the number of UPCAT testing centers to 113 nationwide in 2024. This expansion, up from 102 sites in 2023, aims to support geographically disadvantaged and financially challenged Filipino youth. New testing centers will be available across all 14 regions, including the NCR and BARMM, as well as in key locations in the Middle East for overseas Filipino communities in Oman, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Al Khobar.
The additional sites, primarily public high schools and colleges, will provide examinees with a glimpse of university life, boosting their aspirations to join UP. Applicants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with their designated centers early to ensure a smooth exam day experience.
